Our group chose Global Warming as our topic. The reason we chose Global Warming is that it's very effective to our environment and if it continues then it can cause our planet to die out.

Adding Question 1:
When you add fractions the easiest way to do it is if you find the common denominators.Once you find the common denominator than you can add the numerators and fiond your answer.

Adding Question 2:

Subtracting Question 1:
When you subtract fractions the easiast way to do it is also find the common denominator. The common denominator helps you because you wont need to subtract the denominators anymore, only the numerators.

Multiplying 1:
When multiplying Fractions all you need to do is multiply the denominators and then multiply the numerators.
4/6 x 2/4 = 8/24
4x2=8
6x4=24

The GREEK man known as Pythagoras is also known as the father of mathematics. He was the first one to figure out that the world is a shpere and not flat. He has this THEOREM. The THEOREM is a2+b2=c2
One of the shapes is a triangle. The triangle has LEGS and it has a 90 degree angle. Across from that 90 degree angle is the HYPOTENUSE. The hypotenuse is the longest side of the triangle. It is also known as side C. The three letters R.A.T stands for an RIGHT ANGELED TRIANGLE.

Caseys Pay It Forward
Sunday, January 4, 2009

For my act of kindness I shoveled my grandmas sidewalk so she didn't have to do it. Usually I wouldn't do these things for free.It was minus 30 outside and my grandpa didn't want to do it.I told him I would do it and he offered me money.I said no and to PAY IT FORWARD. I also shoveled my drive way. I have no pictures of that. It took me at least an hour to do my whole driveway.its really tiring.I had to shovel an ice rink too.I only took this picture because it was the only time I had use of a camera. It wasn't a easy job as everyone knew that from your experience. It was fun helping people out over the break even though I only helped my family and I hope everyone had fun PAYING IT FORWARD!!!

Distributive Property and Combining Like terms Chapter 2
Bob:Hi my name is Bob.
Jack:Hello,my name is Jack
Bob:Do you know anything about distributive Property?
Jack:a little bit. why?
Bob: I could teach you a little. Would you like to learn some stuff?
Jack: yeah, it could help me in school.
Bob:Okay, I will give you a question. what is 2 + 4(3n+8)
Jack: I think the answer is 12n + 10. Is that correct?
Bob: I'm sorry but that is incorrect. The answer is 12n+34.
Jack: I think I know where I went wrong.
Bob: show me what you did and I will help you with your mistakes.
1 minute later
Jack: Here you go.
Bob: You forgot to times the 4 by eight and add the 2
Jack: Thank you!
Bob: Would you like to learn about Combining like terms?
Jack:sure, why not. I have nothing better to do.
Bob: What is n+3-5n+12?
Jack: Is the answer -6n+15?
Bob: The answer is -5n+15.
Jack:I was for sure i got it.
Bob: The -5n stays the same then you add the 3+12 and that is 15. That is how you get -5n+15.
Jack:Thanks for all the help you gave me.

These are two questions i got wrong on my test.
This is question 6...
3(-4)-5(-3)+(-3)(-2)= -3
I did this first and got...
3(-4)= -12
Second I did this question...
-5(-3)=15
Last I did this question i added them all together.
+(-3)(-2)=-6
3(-4)-5(-3)+(-3)(-2)
-12+15+-6=-3
This is question 10..
-3(4)(-2)-(-2)(7)+(5)(-5)(-1)=63
I broke them up into 3 multiplying questions
-3(4)(-2)=24
-(-2)(7)=14
+(5)(-5)(-1)=+25
24+14+25=63

Casey's Interger story
Friday, October 24, 2008
One day in class Jomyle was learning about integers. Jomyle didn't like to listen. When the teacher was talking he went to sleep. When he was on his way home he saw a box fall out of the sky. He went to the box and opened it. A little man popped out a said "if you answer the following question you will have food supply for a week". He looked at the question and it was about integers.
The question was (-6)+(+8). He tried to remember what the teacher was talking about. He now knew that he was sleeping. He was trying to remember really hard. He now knew how to use integer tiles. He solved the question and food appeared in his bedroom.
A week has passed and the food was gone. He now was listening in class. Another box appeared and the little dude came out again. he said"the last one was easy. now I will give you a harder one". "What is (+20)+(-17)"? He tried to use a different method because he didn't want to draw all those circles. He started thinking about money. He said" If I have 20 dollars and then gave away 17 what would i get". He now knew the answer. The answer was +3. This time it wasn't food.
There was a list that had 3 Boxes waiting to be checked off. The title was 3 Wishes. He granted his first wish and it came true. He looked at the paper and the first box was checked off. He granted all of his wishes and all the boxes were checked off. In his class he became one of the smartest people because just in case another box appeared he would know the answer.

Mean-arrange the numbers in ascending order, add up the set of data then divide by the number of data and you get your mean.

Range-arrange the numbers in ascending order, subtract the biggest number by the smallest number and you get the range.

Mode-range the numbers in ascending order, look for the number that you see the most and that is your mode.

Median-arrange the numbers in ascending order, look for the middle number and that is your median.
