A How many hours did Kristi work that week?
 
3 1/2 x 3/1= 21/2  =10 1/2

Kristi worked 10 and 1/2 hours in the department store.

B How much did Kristi earn that week?
 
9/1 x 21/2 =189/2  =94 1/2  =$94.50
